Hello everyone
I got my WP on 07/10, how much time do i have to wait to get the RP ? Thanks
@Nizar Turki
Maybe 1 month more waiting time.
I've got WP 7/10 and still waiting.
@Nizar Turki in average you have to wait 10 weeks before obtaining the annexe 46 but obviously it can be more.
@corporateminorista you actually can find out the classification of your application, there are certain numbers for income requirements . On vlaandere.be:
"The highly skilled worker has an income:
that is at least equivalent to the average annual gross salary in Belgium: 43,524 euro in 2021. This amount will rise to 45,096 euro in 2022.
that is equivalent to at least 80% of the average annual gross salary in Belgium (34,819.20 euro in 2021, rising to 36,078.80 euro in 2022) if the worker:
has an employment contract with an employer based in Belgium (and is therefore not a seconded employee); and
is not yet 30 years old, or works as a nurse."
I've even heard that if the employee is also entitled to meal vouchers and participation to a hospitalisation insurance + group (pension) insurance. As these are salary elements that are certain, these can also be taken into account for reaching the threshold. But nothing official, this is something that the legal expert I work with has noticed.
Tuesday (November 1st) is a public holiday in Belgium.
Could also be that government workers/civil servants get Monday off, as well.
So, I would say, don’t any news from the authorities on those days next week.
Patience to us this long weekend!
Hello,
to share my experience so far
first time application
region: wallonia
no reply: oct 14, 2022
wp approval: oct 19, 2022
annex 46: pending
Hello Everyone,
Hope you are doing well!
I am living in Brussels (and working on a single permit) and my current employer is in Brussels, I have an offer from an employer in Flanders and they applied for the single permit on 7th September.
They received approval from the Regional Services of Economy and Migration in Flanders today and now the file has moved to the immigration department. How long it will take again from the immigration department to process the file and provide work authorization?
Thanks a lot for your help.
@Alok1988 usually it takes between 8 and 10 weeks but sometimes it takes more which is the case in this period.
@ghas85 Thanks for your reply!
Do you mean 8-10 weeks from the time the application has moved to the immigration department?
How much time did it take in your case(in case you have applied renewal in Flanders)?
@Alok1988 8 to 10 weeks from the time you get the work approval.
In my case, its more then 12 weeks have been passed now and I am still waiting.
@ghas85 Thanks again for the answer.
Are you already in Belgium?
What do you mean by work approval? (I didn't receive any document, I hear from the employer that they will receive annex 46 once the file is approved, did you receive any work approval documents?)
When did you apply for a single work permit? (could you please help me explain your case also is it the first application or renewal for you?)
@Alok1988 I am not in Belgium yet.
My employer made my first single permit application in Brussels region in 15th of July 2022. This single permit is including a work permit and a stay permit (annex 46).
I get my wp in 09/08/2022 and I am still waiting for the annexe 46. You have to check with your region/employer in order to get your wp which could be ready generally after one month from the application date.
@ghas85 why is it talking so long for your application? Do you know any particular reason?
as I understood they must give your an answer in 120 days, so you should get it in 2 weeks max.
@tkm9977 I don't know why it takes that long.
Many people have almost the same timeline.
My work permit was filed on 22 Sep. It is 1 nov today. Havent receive my WP. Can someone guide by when i should expect it?
@komalsinghk2,
This thread is already 42 pages in, so there's A LOT of information AND data on here, if you just read through it.
@KomalsinghK2: mine was raised on 12th Sep I got my WP on 24Th Oct so may be for you it will come before 15th Nov. As ideally it takes 8-10 weeks for WP. And then same 8-10 weeks for RP. But again this depends.
Hello everyone,
Is there anyone who has any idea about the recent visa processing time of the passport in the Belgian consulates following the receipt of WP and RP from the employer? Specifically wondering the latest situation of the Belgian consulate in Turkey.
Wish you luck and more importantly lots of patience with your visa process!
@PS_123456 Thank you
@firat44 Holidays is over. So hope we will see some permits this week.
Hello everyone
who received his RP recently please ? Im waiting it since 4 weeks
The Trend I see in this blog is earlier it was taking approx 60 days post WP. But recently from past one month it is observed that post WP your Annex 46 will come between 30-40 days. So both of you may received the same by next week.
