@Rucha Vaishampayan nothing yet .... please post once you receive yours ... I'll do the same!
@DGB_ No news yet. I am still waiting for my Annex 46. got my WP on Nov 4. the agency informed RP will take another 8 to 10 weeks from WP. So, hopefully before christmas!
@bhargavmanivala I see, i have the same timeline as you, let's hope for the best
@VICTOR chosg If you file is with immigration office that most probably means your work permit has been approved.
Did you explicitly ask your employer if they received your work permit?
Or maybe an agency/consultancy applied for single permit on your company's behalf, they must have received it.
@Expat_1034
Thank you for the reply.
I only asked for an update, and she told me that my file is now with Immigration.
I guess I should send them a message about it again but I felt my mail to my employer is becoming too frequent.
Update
First time application, Flandres
No Replay 24/08
WP 07/10
RP 30/11
Good Luck to everyone
Be patient even though I know it's not easy 🙏🏻
@Nizar Turki
congrats
@VICTOR chosg anyways, it's good news that your file is with immigration office.
@2ticketstoGhent I applied on July 29th in Brussels and still no response for the RP. I received the WP on august 29. Please let me know if you receive your permit these days and I will also let you know. Thanks.
@alexp993
Thanks Alex for your response. I will surely let you all know once I get the updates.
@maharaji1984 what is your residency type? Is it a “search year” residency or something else? Because this is important for you to get an annex document during your waiting time. Keep in mind that if you have “search year” type of residency as I do, you cannot obtain an annex 15 during your waiting time. The reason is, search year status cannot be extended.
If you do have another type of residency which can be extended: As long as you receive your new single permit before your residency expires, you are okay. Your residency will not be interrupted, as soon as you receive your single permit just go to the city hall and ask for annex 49 they will give it. But if you think that you do not get your single permit on time just go to the city hall few days prior to your residency expiration date, show your application form of single permit and ask for an annex 15.
Anyone here applied around 7 Sept. 2022 and received their RP/Annex 46 recently?
My application date was 7th Sept. 2022, received WP on 26th Oct. 2022.
I observed that total processing time, from date of application till receiving Annex 46 is around 14 weeks in most of the cases.
@alexp993 @2ticketstoGhent sorry to hear you guys have been held for so long as well. if you feel uncomfortable giving a call, there is also the email infodesk@ibz.fgov.be
@llyololl Thank you for your message. I also tried sending an email but just received an automatic reply saying they will contact me again in 10 working days. My employer also contacted them via email and got the same answer. I called also and the person told me only to send an email. Do you know another way of contacting somebody to help me resolve the situation? It's been more than 4 months since the application and I am starting to freak out. Thank you for your help and support.
PS_123456 I just received RP/Annex 46 and below is my timeline
application date 7th September 2022
WP 26th October 2022
RP 1 st December 2022
hope u will also receive it soon
@llyololl
Thank you very much. I am really stressed and upset for this quite long process. The assigned relocation partner of my company has filed my application. I asked them last week, but they just told that we have to wait a bit longer since the residence permit processing time has increased to 10 weeks. They have not contacted with the immigration office as I know. People who have the similar timeline as mine already received their Annex weeks ago. I will send an e-mail to immigration office myself to ask the status of my application.
I hope we all receive our documents very soon.
@prathamesh wow congratulations….. good to know that… I hope next week I will also get the same.
My timeline:
Zone: Brussels
Application send: 6 October
No-reply: 6 October
Application accepted & sent to Immigrations for processing: 16 October
Annexe 46: still waiting
RP: still waiting (after Annexe 46)
Applied for a first-time Single permit, but currently in Belgium (as I was a student here and graduated this year)
I have some doubts if someone can clear:
- In the previous comments, I have seen WP be processed first and then Annexe 46, but my employer's agency told me that now it's a single permit and you receive both together (in form of annexe 46). So WP is the case acceptance letter (that I received on 16 October)?
- Is annexe 46 will be received by the employer and will forward it to me or else immigration agency will send me directly by post?
- How long can it take (annexe 46), as I cannot start my work without it, and as I am already in Brussels I am facing financial problems? It has already been 8 weeks (since I lodged the application) and 7 weeks since my application is accepted.
Will be a great help, if someone can guide me through and answer the questions.
PS - My contract with my employer was supposed to start today (1/12) but they told me to wait for annexe 46 in order to start working.
Thanks
@hypatiaa Thanks for good news, i have residence permit for work.
I will do as you said if i recieve Single Permit in time.
Otherwise i am little bit concerned if i dont get an answer for Single Permit within 2 week because in Antwerpen there is a huge queue in the gemeentehuis in order to apply for Annex 15
I wouldnt know that there is exist another extention. Do you think should i apply now for an annex 15?
@DGB_ it’s for Flanders
Hi everyone,
My timeline for a single permit for Highly Qualified Person (first time)
Region: Brussels
Application: 7 October 2022
File deemed receivable: 19 October 2022
(26 Oct they asked for more docs and after several back and forth we figured out that they had misfiled my application as a permit renewal and not a first time permit. Problems were resolved 9 November)
Work Permit Approval: 10 November 2022
RP/Annex 46: Waiting
@MS10_07 I'll try to answer your questions to the best of my knowledge1. In the previous comments, I have seen WP be processed first and then Annexe 46, but my employer's agency told me that now it's a single permit and you receive both together (in form of annexe 46). So WP is the case acceptance letter (that I received on 16 October)?There are two main steps to the single permit: the approval of the work permit and the approval of the residence permit. The region is responsible for the work permit and will notify your employer once it is approved. Then the application is sent to the Office des Ãtrangers for the review of the residence permit. Once the residence permit is approved, the single permit is provided as an Annexe 46 which represents both the work permit and residence permit. 2. Is annexe 46 will be received by the employer and will forward it to me or else immigration agency will send me directly by post?It depends, did you put a Belgian address on your application or is it an address abroad? Your employer will receive the response and based on your address, the Annexe will be sent either to your Commune or to your address abroad.3.How long can it take (annexe 46), as I cannot start my work without it, and as I am already in Brussels I am facing financial problems? It has already been 8 weeks (since I lodged the application) and 7 weeks since my application is accepted.It usually takes a few weeks to receive your work permit depending on the region. Then it can take up to 4 months to receive the Annexe 46 assuming there were no issues with the application.Check out this website it's really helpful! https://dofi.ibz.be/en/themes/third-cou … gle-permit
@Zaza00 can you inbox me the link please? It says link under review here
@maharaji1984 as far as I know, on your last day of your current residency or few days before, just go to the city hall without an appointment if you cannot have one. Tell them that you are still waiting for your single permit and it is taking more time than usually it takes and this was not foreseen. They would give you an annex 15 if your residency type is extendable one. As I understood yours is an extendable one.
@Expat11111 Did you hear any update on WP yet? My timeline is similar to yours for Flanders with no reply acknowledgement on 6 Oct. I am expecting to hear something this week
Hi everyone,
Anyone with the same timeline ?

Is there a timeline difference if you raise a WP permit in EU previously comparing to raising for the first time?
