Overstay Business Visa

Post new topic

PuntosDebiles

Due to COVID and financial issues in my company, I have overstayed my business visa by a few months.  Now, I need to travel but am unable to because of my visa situation. My company are trying to do something about it, however, do not have the money to pay the fine. Is there a way to legally exit the Kingdom without being blacklisted and without paying the fine?

Simple answer, no.   You might be able to avoid the blacklist but you have to pay whatever fine they give you.

Thank you for your response. I figured that would be the case but thought I'd ask anyway. If the fine is paid, do I avoid the blacklist or will I still be put on it? I'd really like to avoid that if I can.

That varies case to case and it isn't really in your hand.  Sort the issue now..... Don't delay it..... As overstay increases, so do your chances for more penalties.

My company say they're trying to do something, but it's a few days now and no results either way. Any suggestions?

Nothing except wait for your company to do "something".  But if they don't do it quickly, just pay the fine and exit.
