My iqama profession is welding technician. I don't have a diploma certificate recognized by saudi embassy/engineering council. Can i register as a technician in SCE as a technician without 03 year diploma certificate? Option is showing SCE site for without diploma certificate. What are the difference between registration of technicians with diploma and without diploma? Is it possible to register in SCE and renew iqama as a Welding technician with 10 years experience and Vocational Training certificate?PLEASE REPLY

SCE needs one year diploma for the registration.

Without any certificate you will get the membership for ONE YEAR only.

After that, you have to provide a diploma certificate.

If you don't, that ONE year temporary membership will expire and you will not be able to renew your iqama after ONE year.

SCE just doesn't accept any experience at all.

They need ONE YEAR Diploma for Technicians and 3 to 4 years degree for engineers.

@Arsal7 Thanx for your valuable reply..one year diploma means they will verify the certificate and the institute/university and it need to be approved or affiliate in Saudi cultural correct? Because my diploma certificate is from vocational training institute and when i tried to do the attestation by an agency they inform me that my institute is not in the list of Saudi culture for attestation .So kindly confirm this verification process. Thanx in advance...

If you have a result card/marking sheet and your certificate clearly mentioned that the diploma is of one year.

You can attest it.

It only needs attestation from Ministry Of Foreign Affairs of your Home Country.

You don't need attestation from Saudi Culture.

Please advice .I am from India and I have Kuwait embassy attestation with the sign and seal of ministry of external affairs of India. My question is are they verifying this technician diploma certificate with university confirmation or some thing like that?

I don't think so.

SCE is not accepting any online education.

But you should visit SCE office and ask them to be sure.
