Hi expats,

I will be moving to Belgium for work in few weeks, but I still couldn't find a place yet. But there are peoples who can host me till I find an apartment. As I know I have to register myself within 8 days of my arrival. Is it possible to register myself at where I can be "guest" to recieve my residence card? Or I have to give the commun a contract with landords signature etc. Or is there any other way to stay without registration or register myself before I find a place to stay for long-term?

Many thanks 🥰

I’m also wondering the same question, I have a temporary accomadation arranged for a few weeks once arrive to find a permanent place to rent, but I don’t think I can do it within 8 days?
