The new law will radically change the right of residence, specially the right of foreigners having contracted a marriage with a Mauritian citizen. Thus, foreign spouses will not obtain a de facto residence permit through a civil marriage with a Mauritian. What other proof will the mauritius immigration require will they require the marriage certificate to be attested and other things attested.

What is the criteria to proof that after 5 years of back and forth what will they want.

When you get married in register Office or by appointed registrar by the registry office is legal valid married under UK law.

The marriage certificate can be attested afterwards aswell.

Will that be enough.

A register Office is run by government here will that be ok
