You never apply for an IPA - and an IPA is also not rejected.

Your employer applies for a work pass, and an IPA is issued as entry visa once the work pass application is approved.

What kind of work pass did your employer apply for? Do you fulfill the requirements? Does the employer and the job fulfill the requirements? And is the offered salary in the right range (check with SAT)?

Mdakmal: You applied for a passport (at your country authorities) and then an IPA (with the Singapore authorities) is rejected? Sorry, but your post is so garbled that I have no odea what you mean.

yes sir actually my new employer apply for me WP  can I know wat is the reason to rejected coz my agent say he dnt know y my wp no approve he say u check with last company ... last company march 2021 I finish permit I come back my home town now I apply again but my WP  not approved by mom

Ruchi Rani: There are many reasons why a work pass application could be rejected. Please read related posts on this forum to get an idea. Without detailed nowledge of your case, your history, the employer, the nature of the job, etc., nobody can tell why you were rejected.

The employer (or their appointed agent) can find out more from MoM - but if yours don't want to do that, you cannot force them.

I think it is better you look for another job (maybe in another country).

Dear sir my passport I apply at Singapore   sir same One told me . Lust time ( 2or 3 years ago ) mom caught same safety tarring company. About 27 company. Than mom banned 🚫 all this  company...  I also  got my safety curd form ( worksafe safety consultant com) this company ... Is it my iPa riject for this reason ?   And than my iPa  I can apply again? PLS  help me to know  thanks ..

Mdakmal: Sorry, but your posts are so disjointed that I really cannot understand what you mean.

You cannot apply for an IPA ("In-Principle Approval"), only for a work pass. And if that is rejected, your employer should contact MoM to ask for the reason.

I am an ex-abroad from singapore for 3 yrs working in aviation industry. I was repatriated last 2020 due to this pandemic (covid-19). I just want to seek help here about my situation. My new employer applied my IPA last june 25,2022 then i waited for a month then the result release on july 25 stated that my IPA was invalid or rejected. I ask my employer what is the reason then they said i have an “Adverse Record” in MOM. I don’t know what does that record mean then i tried to search it on internet stated that probably that i have a debt on gov’t. But i don’t remember i have debt in singapore. I have already paid my income tax last 2020. I enquire to IRAS also they said i don’t have any outstanding balance. Then i emailed and call the MOM but as per agent said they don’t want to disclose the matter to me. And also my employer don’t know what is the real reason of that “Adverse Record” if the MOM don’t want to tell the real problem how can i solve the problem. Please help me 😭 because my employer don’t want to re-apply my IPA. Sorry for the long enquiry.

Check with ICA please. Possible reasons include but not limited to- overstaying in SG, or there may be some other outstanding amounts payable, or if you have any pending cases etc.
