Identifier, cueillir et trier les fruits selon leur taille, leur type et leur maturité. Vérification des fruits de différentes tailles et types et élimination des fruits pourris et trop mûrs. Mesurer et emballer des fruits et légumes de haute qualité dans des boîtes et charger ces boîtes dans des camions. Recevoir, compter, étiqueter et stocker l'inventaire des articles, selon les besoins. Toute autre décision nouvellement prise par le superviseur de la ferme, compte tenu des circonstances nouvellement imposées à la ferme. Remplissage des feuilles de présence quotidiennes des rapports administratifs sur les performances quotidiennes. Nettoyage du matériel agricole et rangement de l'entrepôt, rapports entrants et sortants selon les demandes et bien plus encore
Fruit picking job
- Identifying, picking, and sorting fruits according to size, type, and ripeness.
- Checking fruits of different sizes and types and removing rotting and over-ripened fruits.
- Measuring and packing high quality fruits and vegetables into boxes and loading those boxes in trucks.
- Receiving, counting, labeling and storing inventory of items, as required.
- Any other farm supervisor oriented newly undertaken decision considering newly imposed circumtances at the farm.
- Filling of daily roster sheets of the administrative reporting on the day-to-day performance.
- Farm equiment cleaning and warehouse tidiiness and inbound versus outbound reporting as per requests and much more
Fruit and Vegetable Pickers perform a range of tasks related to the harvesting of fruits and vegetables directly from the plants and trees.
They primarily work in farm fields, orchards, and greenhouses.
Their duties and responsibilities include:
• Picking fruits and vegetables from plants or trees manually or using picking tools
• Sorting and packing the picked produce in containers, ensuring that they meet the quality standards
• Transporting the harvested produce to the packing area
• Examining produce for quality and removing damaged or rotting items
• Keeping records of crops picked
• Maintaining farm equipment and machinery
• Adhering to all safety protocols and farm policies
• Assisting with crop planting and field preparation
• Pruning plants or trees to increase quality and yield of crops
• Identifying plant diseases and pests and reporting to the supervisor
