Document Control
The Document Controller is responsible for the management and control of all project documentation, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. This role involves maintaining accurate records, facilitating document retrieval, and ensuring the smooth flow of documentation between various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and control all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence.
Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures.
Ensure documents are distributed to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Maintain an organized filing system for both physical and electronic documents.
Track the status of all documents and maintain up-to-date records of document reviews and approvals.
Ensure document version control, ensuring that the most current versions are available and obsolete versions are appropriately archived.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure documentation requirements are met.
Prepare and distribute document transmittals and manage the receipt of incoming documents.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with document control standards and procedures.
Provide training and support to project teams on document control processes and systems.
