Durante 19 años fui propietario y director de una empresa de mantenimiento en Ciudad del Cabo (Sudáfrica), que prestaba servicios tanto al sector doméstico como al comercial. Entre los servicios que ofrecía se encontraban el diseño, la fabricación y la instalación de cocinas y armarios empotrados, el diseño, la fabricación y la instalación de puertas automáticas y rieles para puertas, y proyectos de construcción y renovación.
Production/Manufacturing Operative
I am seeking employment as a Production/Manufacturing operative.
I am an enthusiastic and educated individual with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and as a team player. I am flexible and able to multi task. I am computer literate, a critical thinker and multi-skilled. I have exceptional communication and leadership talents. My skills and knowledge gained over the term of my working career, along with my exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills, have equipped me with the ability to be adaptable in any given situation.
My experience includes 3 years production operative, 33 years of sales and marketing - 14 years as an Industrial Instrumentation Sales Engineer and 19 years as business owner.
I owned and ran a maintenance company in Cape Town, South Africa for 19 years which served both the domestic and commercial sectors. Included in the services I offered was the design, manufacture and installation of kitchens and built-in-cupboards, design, fabrication and installation of automated gates and gate tracks, building and renovation projects.
I have vast experience, knowledge and skill in the use and operation of Industrial, power and hand tools gained over years of experience in the commercial, industrial and maintenance industry. I also have 14 years specialized Ultrasonic Level Measurement, Load Cell Weighing and Batching (Philips Wägetechnik GmbH, Hamburg, Germany), Level, Flow, Temperature and Pressure control instrumentation sales and installation experience.
As a production operative I gained experience in the manufacture and production, assembly and testing of high performance electric motors as well as the specialized tools and equipment used to manufacture them, namely: Induction soldering machines, Pneumatic tools, Hydraulic presses etc. The motors are used in but not limited to the automotive, construction, and building industry.
My hands-on approach and passion for innovation led me to design and manufacture a 50 ton hydraulic log splitter, sliding weight inertia log splitter, various solar stills, metal smelting forge, knife making belt sander, various disc sanders and industrial buffing machines among others. In addition I designed and manufactured various archery and fire arms accessories.
