Expat experience
we have signed for the house we are moving into on October 1st very near Da Nang Bay. A great neighborhood.
I lived in this North Da Nang neighborhood from November 2018 thru January 2019, during the heart of monsoon season. I think this is one of the best kept secrets in town
I like renting a three bedroom partially furnished house for 10 Million VND. I especially like living away from the Expat bubble areas. Fresh market 2 streets away. 6 short city blocks to the bayside promenade and sandy beach of Da Nang Bay. Co-Op Supermarket very nearby. Easy Grab ride to the train station and the airport. A very quiet and beautiful tree-lined neighborhood here.
Living in Cam Thanh, Hoi An, Quang Nam, Vietnam with my Vietnamese wife until October 1st, but we found our new home in Da Nang today, so the listings here will overlap
Wonderful, peaceful neighborhood with great neighbors, away from the tourist trap part of town.
Spent the better part of a month in Northern Vietnam, including Hanoi.
I've returned to Vietnam after first returning here in 2018.

Living in a condo at the edge of the Pacific Ocean in this quiet community on the south outskirts of Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico.
The weather is extraordinarily wonderful especially early in the morning when the Marine layer mist is still hanging on, and in the evening when the gorgeous sunsets light up the sky.
Sometimes I wish it were easier to find a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. In Vietnam there was always a little fresh market nearby. But my housekeeper knows where to go for shopping and can you usually find about 80% of what I'm looking for. I would really love to be able to find fresh okra here.
In transit. Future options include Mexico, Thailand, a Department of Defense retirement home or returning to Vietnam when borders reopen for tourists.

Made outstanding connections with the owner and staff of the "Impressive Hotel" (M. Hake). Spent a month being educated as to the northern Vietnamese point of view. Great experience.
