My wife is working in KSA as cabin crew and I will be moving shortly as a teacher in a British School. Does my wife have to sponsor me or can the school sponsor me and we have separate sponsors?

Thanks in advance.

@Gargeer

Separate sponsorship is better

Cheryl

Hello everyone,

@mailmeksyed, thank you for the reply.

Could you please give more details on that? Why is separate sponsorship better? 1f914.svg

@Cheryl

It depends on thier employment contract and the  benefits granted by the employer.

So if I come to KSA (my wife already being there) could I bring my 2 year old daughter with me or would there be a waiting period?

mailmeksyed

@Gargeer

There is no waiting period as such, your wife will be your sponsor for both dependents and it's faster than a separate sponsored visa.

@mailmeksyed

but I want to avoid my wife becoming my sponsor as I will then be employed on a local contract and lose certain benefits of the contract of employment. Is it possible to legally come not under my wife’s sponsorship, but instead under that of my employer?

@mailmeksyed dependent levy is waving for your good advise.

I would suggest processing your daughter under wife’s Iqama if her company allows as she already has her Iqama. You Iqama will take at least 30 days to process upon arrival depending on your sponsors status in the labor office.

wife and husband coming on different sponsorship will waive off the dependent fee(400SAR/month) for the husband as he would be no longer in dependant status under the wife sponsorship.

secondly, keep the child/children on the wife's sponsorship, this can be interchangeable.

Hello Everyone,

Myself on my wife sponsoree (dependent iqama). I have received a job offer and want to transfer my Iqama to new employer.

Do I need NOC from my wife employer, or can I transfer only with my wife's approval.

Please guide the process
