UK citizen travelling to the UK while in possession of an Orange Card.

Hi folks,

I plan to call the town hall tomorrow and have searched around online but can’t find a clear cut answer to this.

I'm a UK citizen with a British passport and don’t need a visa to be in Belgium (just have to abide by the 90/180 rule). I currently have an Orange Card and I’m awaiting a decision on an F card through family reunification (Belgian partner of 12 years).

We’re looking to do a really quick day trip to the UK on Sunday to grab a few things before Christmas but I’m really confused if I can leave Belgium? Because I don’t need a visa to be here already, I *think* it’s ok to travel? Can anyone shed more light?

Thanks and sorry if this question has been asked before, I really couldn’t find anything on it!
