I applied for marriage visa (visa C) last September 23, 2022

My files were sent to home office of belgium last October 10, 2022

Received Approval of Proposed Marriage last October 5, 2022

Up until this date, the DOFI website still says "in behandeling"

Anyone here applied at the same month with any progress/ received their visas?

When was it registered on the website??

it means it’s still in process

@Ade mary it says it was registered December 8, 2022...but they told my fiance it was registered prior to that date...

Hi,

has anyone applied for a visa to get married in 2023?

I am an EU citizen living in Belgium, my fiancé in Ghana applied for this visa on 21/06 and on 7/07 he received an email that the application has been forwarded to the immigration office in Belgium. We set our marriage date for Mid August at the commune here in Belgium. I would like to have an idea as of 2023 the timelines to get a response, we don’t want to miss our wedding date, or that would imply gathering all documentations that took us months to gather. Thanks for any further insights
