Hi, I'm a transgender woman living in America and I'm looking to move to Taipei to teach English. I have a Bachelor's in English and I've been teaching for one year.
My question is - are there any trans people who can share their experience of living in Taiwan? Or is anyone aware of the conditions for trans women there? I'm pre-op (I haven't had vaginoplasty), but I might be able to get the surgery before I move. I'm aware of the official legislation with LGBT rights, but hearing some first-hand experiences would be more valuable to me.
