Please can someone out here help me out I have a question.

I am due to apply for the renewal of my card F. However, I am separated with my partner ( my partner moved out few months ago) but we are yet to make it official.

I contacted the commune to asked about the renewal of my card and I was told I will be given card C and not F+.

Please what are implication is any ?

Any idea how long it takes for the approval of the card C?

How long can holder of card C before applying for citizenship?

Background information,  I have a job at the moment do I still have to apply for the renewal of the card on my own financial standing or that of my ex?
