Good day, Appreciate anyone's insight and experiences.

I'm applying for a Belgium single permit application through TSLcontract in South Africa, Cape town. I have all the required documents from employment contracts to passport photos. However, I have a question surrounding the single permit application - would I require flight reservations now or can this be done after my permit is approved? I'm trying to understand if flight reservations are mandatory before going for my visa appointment in a few days.
