Can I scrap my uk registered car in Morocco

Post new topic

Mark Little

The engine has completely broke on our car whilst we are driving through Morocco. Can we scrap it here?

@Mark Little if the car is stamped in your passport at the entry point to Morocco or registered to you at the entry point you will have to take it out of the country. If it’s beyond repair and the only solution is scraping it you need to check with the local authorities before scraping it or you could be liable for taxes.

Hi, I have my British UK car in morocco and its almost been 6 months since i entered with the car. Its a 7 years old so I can not change the registration on to moroccan number plates.

I would like some help if any one knows can I take the car to Cueta (Spain) and come back the next day will the 6 months start again.  If not where is the best place to park the car for 6 months and when does this 6 month expire, does it run from january to december.

Has any one done this before.

Thank you for any help or advise any one has.
