Rachel Dawson

Hello,

My legal belgian partner abandoned me and I live here in belgium. I was abused mentally, emotionally and sometimes physically. He didn't process my F Visa so I only have the orange card. My family reunification visa application was denied 3 times. I'm the only one did the application because he doesn't want to have an effort to make it. I have a full time job right now but it will be discontinue because my orange card will expire soon. Is there anyone here that could help or know what to do. I want to continue my work and live my life here. Please help. I don't know what to do anymore. I can't sleep almost everynight because of this problem.

@Rachel Dawson Hello. Which resident status you had before orange card?

Edigj

Sorry to hear that.

Speak to them and ask if your resident card might be converted to work purposes/work permit as you have a job already. If not you would be forced to return back to your country of citizenship.
