Legalizing my degree certificates

I am currently processing my application for work permit in Belgium. I come from Nigeria. I was also informed that I have to legalize my documents which I have commenced the process already.

Question; for a work permit(and not coming as a student), I am currently working on legalizing my degree certificates. Is it compulsory that I must legalize my transcripts as well. I am not so certain if transcripts are to be included considering I am coming for work and not for education. The sch authorities here informed me that transcripts can only be sent directly to a school if I am going for studies and cannot be given to me directly. Thank you

I only provided a copy of my diploma/degree certificate and had no issues
