Driving BG car through europe

Good morning everybody,

We are thinking of driving our BG registered car through Europe.

Does anybody know if there are any insurances which will protect you in Europe, breakdown, road accidents etc,etc

You will need a green card- it is part of your Third-party liability vehicle insurance (гражданска отговорност). It is not covering all risks and all the countries (EU is covered) so if you want full coverage you have to ask your insurance agent for additional payment. I hope this will help.

Breakdown cover

Car insurance

Health insurance if needed.

Can be bought via google

I travel from uk to bg anually.have cover in place..just in case.

wtruckyboy, is your vehicle insured in BG or UK?

UK vehicle insurance provides the minimum third party cover to drive in EU countries, no green card needed. But as horodada3's car is Bg insured, it might be wise for them to check with their insurer.
