Visit visa delay

I submitted one before two weeks but still pending

if the request for Father, Mother , Wife , and sons under 18 years then I think no issue and will be approved but for others may be rejected.

Applied 3 weeks ago also for my wife. I went through a approved travel agent and told me the system to issue visa's is down from Saudi as to the reason for the delay. I find that to be very dumb as to have your visa system down for this long.

Oh God. Its more than 3 weeks and I was getting worried.

@Fathima2023 I feel they will approve it after Ramadan is over. Thinking they just using system down as an excuse. Imagine your country visa system down for so long. Just does not make sense to me.

that's so worrying. So many applied for visit visa for the family to be together during Ramadan and Eid

Even when I called the MOFA customer care number,  they are not even bothered and told me there is no specific time period for approval.

Isn't there anything else we could do?

@Fathima2023 Unfortunately nothing else we can do. At the mercy of them waiting to get an approval. Wanted to spend Ramadan there with family so praying will get it soon.

Yes, I applied during the beginning of Ramadan and it got approved after 21 days.

@Al Ameen6 When did it get approved exactly, today? If you can also let me know what type of visa request was it? DM if you wish to share in private. I am waiting on visitor visa approval and going on 4 weeks tomorrow.

I applied on March 21 and got approved on April 13.

@Al Ameen6 Damn that sucks for me. I applied the same time and told till today that the system is down for issuing visas. Thanks for the update. Wish they issue the visa already I am to fly out Saturday.

Are they holding your passport and just waiting on the visa? Worst part is they have had my passport for a month now with no movement and if I ask for it back till visas are being granted again I lose my money for the visa and have to pay again.

Edit: Just spoke to my travel agent and advised they are working on them again so hopefully good news soon.

I applied it on 26th March and it has not yet been approved. No idea when this is going to be approved.
