hi, i dont know if there is any ways, but ask in case someone knows!

My fiancee and her two children are gonna move to my country, she have full custody of one of the children so he is ok to relocate, the oldest child have a shared custody between the parents, and the father of the child lives in a fifferent country than the child, he refuses to let the child move to another country even tough he dont have contact with the child other than a short video conversation once a week, and dont contribute with anything in the childs life. He only does this to hurt his Ex girlfriend (the mother) and doesnt think about the wellfare of his daughter that would get a brighter future, by living in one of the safest countries in the world with free education and free health services, so my question is, is there any ways that can overrule the father, considering he only do it to punish his ex and also prevent the child of the best chances of a safe and good childhood? We are already in the court in Colombia with this but it takes long time, and i know that when it comes to laws, there is always a loophole in them, its just to find them.

hope someone knows!

Your best bet is to consult with a lawyer.  You are quite vague about naming the countries involved, you should not be!  If you are already in court I doubt that advice on any internet forum would be helpful - again, if this is complicated enough that it needs a court to resolve it, you need to get professional legal help and rely on their expertise.

It is generally the case that minor children citizens of Colombia, may not leave Colombia unless they have the permission of both parents - so you may be out of luck.

@larsvedo First of all..while you still can, dont walk away from this situation RUN!! As FAST as you can.

I never understand why guys are so lonely and desperate they get involved with all the stress, and Tele Novela type drama of single mothers , and even worse, dragging them and a kid that isnt biologically theirs to their home country. Even WORSE with the "Baby Daddy" still involved.

You are asking for only stress, drama and headaches.

You can come to Colombia, or any other Latin American country, and even if you are old, ugly or out of shape, eventually find some company here, without necessarily living with them, or even worse, going through the hassle, stress  and legal / financial risk of taking them to your own country.

To answer your question, if you still want to ruin your life, you can offer to pay the father

off. Everyone has a price.

However, he could be the other case- the machisa, unhinged, border line psychotic envidioso Latino who only wants to make his exs life misereable. In that case, it will take A LOT of plata.

I have ran into these types a few times myself.

@OsageArcher You said it Archer. My daughter was very close to not being allowed to leave the country and both her mother and father (myself) were with her! Gotta love Colombia!
