Government university work visa Delay

Is there anyone who is waiting for a work visa for a public university in KSA.

I was offered a job to work at a government university in Riyadh. The university applied for the work visa, but it has been almost 6 months and the application is still being processed.

Does anyone have experience with how long it takes for government universities in KSA to approve work visas?

usually it takes 2 months maximum before your working visa arrives from the time that your medical result is already released..

@msbdrq The university did not inform about medical. They just said after approval the visa will go to KSA embassy and then embassy will ask to provide medical before stamping visa passport.
