Departing with pet

Do you know if you can leave the country with your pet in a carrier? It looks like the only airlines departing Vietnam are Vietjet or Vietnam Air. Is this true?

the second part is not true.

unless you are talking about non-stop flights to a particular country, there are lots of flights going to Korea and Japan and the Middle East and the Philippines and Singapore and many other places, depending upon what city you are in.

since according to your profile activity it looks as if you are headed to Egypt in June, I'm pretty sure there are other airlines taking you to places such as Dubai or even connecting in Turkey I'm pretty sure

Karie,

We just flew in/out of DaNang on Korea Air and it was great! You can bring a pet inside the plane, as a few fellow passengers had Cats. Just need a vacine proof for the pet.

Good luck!

Oh great!

Watch for me in the next viral Tik-Tok video of man with cat allergy going ape-sh*t on plane when flight attendants refuse to relocate him away from cat in the next seat... 🐈

I have flown with my large dog using Qatar Airways. Its super critical you get all the paperwork needed for where you are going. Most countries have pretty strict requirements for bringing dogs in from vietnam since its a high risk country for rabies and stuff. You have to get certified health checks and stuff before you leave. I dont know if I am allowed to post specific people or companies but for something this important I would go to an international pet hospital. There is one in Thao Dien Saigon that does a lot of this type of thing all the time.
