Travelling by van - Insurance a minefield?

I see other people's vlogs of them travelling around Europe and other Coutries with what seems impunity however every since Insurance company Im phoning doesn't want to know if I ask about insrance for me in my van for more than 60 days?

How do you organise Van Insurance so you can travel freely?

I mean if I wanted to travel to my mates house in Bulgaria, I could only stay 6 weeks before I would have to thik about returning,

I want to come look for work and maybe a house. I have money and good qualifications but doing what I need in 60 days is pushing it...

How can I organise my Van Insurance so I can move around more freely?

Welcome to the expat.com forum and good luck with your travels!

It's quite typical to have a days limit for your EU cover, but I think it should be possible to find one with 90 days maximum.

You should also note that your insurance looks current, which is the main issue if you are stopped by police for some kind of check/offence. The risk that you're taking is that, if you were to have an accident, your insurance company might find that you were away more than the allowed days, which would allow them to refuse to pay.
