How to pay loan if job lost

Post new topic

My name is Zulfiqar Ghulam Qadir . I worked at YIC (Yanbu Industrial College) –Royal Commission Yanbu Al Sinaiyah for about 10  years. I was on Eid ul Adha (15 days). vacation I got urgency. I could not come back in 15 days. I requested YIC to extend my visa for one more week. YIC did not respond to me. I submitted my resignation. On contact with RC for EOSB (Employee Gratuity Funds), I was shocked to know I was terminated with no notification..

I received a loan from SABB against my EOSB (Employee gratuity fund) .SABB branch manager told me that my loan was secured /insured in any case. In case job lost, the client would not pay anything or we would take it from the client EOSB funds.

After around 10 years, SABB contacted me to pay loan. It was again a big shocks. I believed that the loan either was compensated with me RCY-EOSB (Employee Gratuity Fund) or from securities/insurance.

I used to pay my loan regularly. It was stopped after job loss. I left about SAR 80,000. My EOSB was around SAR 100,000. I was relaxed. After 10 years I was contacted by SABB.

I am in retirement processs. I dont have enough saving to pay this loan after 10 years.

Any suggestions?
