Hello everyone, I submitted on the 28th of February and finally was able to track my application today but I don’t understand the below infos included :-
Extra info1 When a file is still being processed or if it is not yet processed because the documents supporting the visa application sent by diplomatic bag are pending, the date indicated is the date of registration of the visa application by the EO.

Extra info2: The decision is in principle sent on the day it is taken. However, a period of a few days may elapse before it is actually received by the diplomatic or consular post.

Please can anyone explain better to me what was meant by this extra info ???

I just saw this reply , why are you afraid ? I read on here aproval visa takes longer , approxmatily 3 to 6months , i guess you are already in your 3rd month right ? Be hopeful and stay positive everything will be okay

My weekend is going well not soo much to do ,how about yours ? Still nothing , havent heard anything since submission almost two months , we are hoping to hear something in june 😕

My weekend is good too, do not worry as you will be hearing from them soon enough. As you can see, it took mine 2 months and a week before it reflected and trackable on the dofi.ibz site. So I believe your will be trackable soon enough too. Have a great night ma.

@Spencer Gee Gold  I'm doing well thanks , i applied on 17th march , i havent heard anything again since then , we are still hoping to hear something in june , i read somewhere after 6 months and havent heard anything they automatically have issue the visa so idk , guess we have to do the waiting game

Can anyone please share their journey if they applied before the Belgium holiday months (July and August) does these months actually delay the process??

Yes it means that your file is sent to brussels for a decision. You should wait 2 to 3 weeks to see it on the website of dofi because its a long term visa application.

yeah me too applied on May month (30th) . I am also in the same situation as you. We got TC for my kids in current school and they are in home from April . Hoping that we will get Visa before SEP. But not sure. If you get any update, please do post us here.

Yeah sure.

I have applied since May 18, and just got one email since then. I am still unable to track on the ibz website, let's hope that our visa gets approved in August (3 months from may) In Sha Allah, plus these summer holidays don't delay the visa processing

@hibbasaleem18 Hallo, I've seen most of the visas only start tracking between 6-8 weeks. Mine only started tracking 7 weeks after it was sent to Brussels

No the holidays does not affect anything. Are you putting the correct number?

@Abena ne I applied 20 March, started tracking 9 May, and still in treatment. Today is 3 months. When you go on the ibz site and you put your location and tracking number, what does it say?

Hello Abena. Are you entering the correct number? If yes then may be your's will take more time to appear on the website. Do not worry too much

@ABS25 yes that is the refrence number on our receipt vfs gave us , the thing is that after submission in march 17, i have not heard anything like nothing am just confused ,

So as you are putting the last 5 digits of reference number, which is indeed correct then you should wait a bit more. It will be surely visible on the site, may take a bit more longer.

Have u contacted your visa application Centre about this? I've seen some people with the same problem as you, and the day it finally starts tracking you get the decision. It also states on the ibz website during busy periods they don't display it on the tracking until the decision is made....... But I suggest when it hits the 4 month mark you should contact the ibz, then there must be a problem. I hope you come right, it's already stressful enough waiting for a answer, so I can really understand your frustration not knowing if your application has been received by the ibz!!

@netvirpret101 problem what problem could there be ?  Yes we have sent an email to the embassy hopefully they reply us , it is really frustrating ,
