S pass pending too long

Is your employer or MOM asking for 3rd party document verification?

@thetmon120436 have a plan B, I.e a different job. If HR can’t give you clarity on the quota, it’s hard for anyone else here to give you advice.

It seems 3rd party documents verification rule made mandatory, the rule is supposed to be applicable from September 2023. Now its already more than 2 weeks since I submitted my documents to 3rd Party company for verification and still not completed,

My employer applied for an S pass once in the month of April 2023 and it got rejected due to a mismatch in the degree certificate, after that, my employer suggested going through 3rd party verification,

Any suggestions from anyone, what would be the outcome, If it already got rejected once? because MOM never gives a reason for the rejection, even my employer did not understand the reason and they think its degree certificate mismatch.(MOM not giving a clear reason to employer as well)

@Ganeshnath Gosavi How long the third party verification ("vetting") takes is out of MoM's control.

And since the vetting agency needs responses from your past employers, schools/universities and home country authorities, it is also out of the control of these agencies.

Ask yourself: How quickly would your home country companies, institutions and buerocrats reply? Add two weeks to that for processing and communication and you have a good estimate of how long to wait!

@beppi According to your logic, my  University takes 24hrs to validate the graduation certificate, if I am applying for the verification certificate so added 2 weeks to it.

So it will take one more week to validate the degree certificates by 3rd party company.

@Shekhz My HR reached to MOM they said they will need more time..they didn't ask any additional documents and my university is also listed on SAT.

Hi has anyone’s work pass approved in may ?

Today, I got a bad news from my employer, they withdrawn my S pass due to Quota. What a unusual is my pass status shows pending on this morning almost 1 month(from 9 May to 6 June) it never show invalid, after they withdrawn, it shows invalid.

My one got approved today. Thanks

@thetmon120436 no its normal man dont worry . you should be worried about not receiving update if its 30 days+
