Hello,

I wish to visit my boyfriend in Belgium, he's a citizen and I'm from a third world country. Which is the most favourable visa to apply? Any tips?

Thank you

@mijideemmy Hi, depends what is your goal once you are in Belgium.

Do you only intend to stay for a short period or a longer period?

Based on that you can use a simple Tourist visa or a much lengthier dependent visa process.

Aneesh

Indeed, a short term tourist visa - type C would be the best. If you intend to move to get married, then there is a different visa type.

@BMM996210 For now, three months will do, but I may wish to extend not certain for now. Would it be possible, in case a need arises, or will I have to come back to my country and apply again?

@Aneesh Thank you, Aneesh.

Do I need proofs as well?

@BMM996210 Thank you for the response
