Hi all,

What are the formalities and paperwork required to bring your pet in Papua New Guinea?

How long do formalities & paperwork usually take in Papua New Guinea?

What are the relevant authorities to contact?

Which vaccines are compulsory? Do your pets have to go in quarantine at their arrival in Papua New Guinea?

Which advice would you give to the ones who would like to move with a dog, a cat or any other pet?

Hi Julien,

I will be moving to PNG soon from Thailand (rabies endemic country). Wonder if you found any solutions to brining pets into the country. I understand it's quite an ordeal, and perhaps too rough on the pets to even try. I have a back-up plan in Thailand in the event I'm unable to bring them along, but would prefer to have them with me. Grateful for your thoughts.
