IQAMA expired ICT professional

Hello, this is my first ever post in here and I hope I can get a reply or help. I am a ICT professional engineer. I am working in the kingdom for the past 30 years. I am looking for a job in VoIP or in project management.

Also I have an issue with my IQAMA.

Its been already more than 3 months been expired. My back account and all are frozen and I can not use them. My question is,,,

01 - Will I be in trouble if the passport authority catches me?

02 – will I be able to transfer to a new sponsor / employer even if my IQAMA is expired?

@Ju Perera it will be easier to transfer sponsorship in expired iqama case..

Don't worry, i survived 3 years with expired iqama...

I suggest you to find a job as soon as possible
