I have completed my interview today in Belgium embassy Pakistan.

I have received the email stating

"Your visa application has been forwarded to the Foreigners’ Office (FPS Interior) for examination and decision"

Can any senior guide me?

If he/she gone through this situation.

What help do you need??

What they communicated is quite clear.  You will receive an answer regarding your visa when immigration authorities make a determination of your application/interview.  It's standard.

@londonm8 hi, can you tell me what they are asking you during the interview ?

thanks a lot ☺️

@romaniac i have submitted my application 28th june. And my interview held 12th july. After written and oral interview i was sent back and later i got email which i mentioned above.

Is it any problem with my application? Why they haven't issued me visa instead they sent it to FPS. For further checking.  Just anxious

I have applied for type d student visa multiple entries.

londonm8

@jeremy1204 i have my block account they asked me about that. Some written question regarding my studies in Belgium and my past study.

Have you applied as well?

Like I said, it's standard procedure.  The embassy doesn't decide all types of visa, other agencies have to look at it and determine the outcome.

Relax for now.

@londonm8 I applied in early July and got the email regarding my application being forwarded to immigration office. However, no response yet. Any idea how long on average does it take for them to respond?

Its also the start of the summer holidays so they will be working on reduced staff.

@SimCityAT @romaniac On average, when should I expect a response? I need to submit my resignation letter a month before quitting my job, and my university starts in september 18th.

AlexFromBelgium

As soon as possible... for student end of june, early July to be right on time

Same situation. Applied student type D visa to Embassy on June 6th, got an email forwarding my application to IO on June 24th. Still no more result of searching on infovisa.ibz.be. Do you want has any idea on the processing time in this high season?

Such impatient...

AlexFromBelgium

you can expect most of the student visa to be process before the 15th September.

If you've send your visa request on the 6th June, you should get news in the next coming days, then 1 by 1, until no more student visa to process.

There's always a rush, end of Augustus/beginning of September for the immigration with student visas~

Two weeks have passed; does anyone get any updates?

No, because each case is different. Only the office dealing with your claim can give you the answer.

Update: 12/9: application reflected on Dofi (after more than 3 months submitted)

@AlexFromBelgium still got no response

Victoria93

@anyonesakura none on my end. yours?

AlexFromBelgium

It's a dead case, even if you get your visa.

Subscription to universities are over for the academic year... :(
