Tax return after leaving Belgium forever

Post new topic

Nov Rain87

Hello,

After working for more than 2 years in Belgium we're planing to leave the country forever, we are non EU citizen.

My question is, how it works with return taxes in this case?

We filled the tax form for year 2022, and based on calculation the government has to return tax to us.

Should we do an extra request?

Thank you in advance.

No, return will be charged in your account where you fill in in the form.

@maharaji1984  thank you for your reply.

I filled up the declaration for the year 2022 and normally we will take back the tax return in February 2024. But, because I am leaving the country soon is there another process that can speed up the tax return?

Should I contact the Finance office?

@Nov Rain87 Nothing will speed up the procedure.Especially your current situation.
