ETFs in Mauritius

Happy Afternoon,

I currently do have an account at Trade Republic because I used to live in Austria.

But after a while when they notice I moved to Mauritius they will soon close my account which I can just keep and will have to move all funds to somewhere else.

Is there anything like Trade Republic https://traderepublic.com or https://de.scalable.capital where you can easily invest on a monthly/weekly basis in ETF when based in Mauritius?? Of course I am looking for the typical ETFs like MSCI World, Emerging Markets etc. and also the option to invest in stocks.

Of course I know there are banks offering it but I am looking for cheap(er) options because in any comparison to invest and trade with a local bank (also in Europe) is always the most expensive option. But I think because ETF is may not that popular there is no other option than to go with banks?

Hope someone can help  :)

However, the suggestions are not brokers in Mauritius. They are located in countries where you might not want to invest your money (USA), or they do not have particularly good customer ratings (Swissquote).

If my information is correct, ETF trading is possible at MCB, and ABSA is probably in the process of setting up a new system for this.
