Hi all,

I will be moving to Nairobi with my two children aged 5 and 3 year for six months. They have been in French speaking nursery in Finland so I would like them to continue learning French while we are staying in Nairobi. We are coming in beginning of October and will stay til April. All suggestions appreciated ie. home tutoring, French classes.. No need to be a teacher just some French speaker who is willing to speak French to my children once or twice a week, is OK as well.

Regards,
Reija

There is a French School but it's only for French speaking student, but since your kids were in a nursery may be they could join primary there; primary at French school is bilingual I think one day French one day English

Otherwise Alliance Francaise is the place to go classes, French stuff and finding a tutor, which should be a problem in Nrbi

Thank you! I checked out the French Alliance website. They have classes for kids over 6 years, but I hope they could take my 5 year old daughter there.

Does anyone have any idea how much I should pay for home tutor session of 3hrs?
