Checking your estate agent is real

Hi,

We are ready to send money to an estate agent. They have an AMI number and we want to check it. We have tried the IMPIC website but putting in the license number doesnt seem to output anything, even for other estate agents. Can anyone tell me how to verify the agent is real and registered please?

This is the page I have used, and Ive added license numbers but nothing comes back. Perhaps I am using the wrong thing?
