Post new topic

annlyn

Hi everyone

I'm married in the Philippines with a belgian man.

I want to ask a visa family reunification with belgian spouse.

On the website  visa application forms,I  only found :visa long stay with a belgian.and not  family reunification with belgian spouse .

Also nothing about family reunification with Eu citizen(what this means?)

Can someone help me

Thanks

God bless

hibbasaleem18

@annlyn it is clearly mentioned on the website, "family Reunification with a Belgian Art 40" this means when your sponsor/spouse is Belgian

annlyn

Thank you so much for the answer

I see the 40te on the online website,r,is this the right?

hibbasaleem18

Yes art 40 is the right one for you if your spouse is a Belgian sponsor

annlyn

@hibbasaleem18 thank you so much.

Can i ask a second question.

How sure you can be about the documents submitted in the vfs global,such as all requirements and additional.

Are these actually forwarded completely  to the embassy for processing?

hibbasaleem18

@annlyn ofcourse they are

When you submit all the required documents to the VFS they send your entire file to Brussels in the immigration office and they take the decision, if they require any additional documents they email you and you send them mostly via email or physically at the VFS.

hibbasaleem18

And make sure that you submit a complete file and all the documents properly at once

annlyn

@hibbasaleem18 the vfs here send it first to embassy to process for 15days then after they will submit it to Brussels immigration office. But how we will know that all our documents/requirements are forwarded by vfs as they didn't gave us a receiving documents.

hibbasaleem18

@annlyn you will receive an email that your documents are sent to the immigration office and you will get an application number for tracking

yarzaifaisal

@hibbasaleem18 Have you got any news regarding your file? Because i am following you and submitted my file on 6th june 2022 and still in pending.

hibbasaleem18

@yarzaifaisal

No I haven't Heard anything since my application was trackable

It's been 4 months for me now still no idea

I applied in May

annlyn

@hibbasaleem18

I have handed in all the documents to the VFS, but have not received any confirmation of receipt?

hibbasaleem18

@annlyn they will almost send you an email after 7 days that your documents have been forwarded

annlyn

@hibbasaleem18 I mean proof of the documents I have issued, such as the number of documents, etc.

hibbasaleem18

@annlyn

They don't send an email particularly for this

annlyn

@hibbasaleem18

1.Can I trust that my documents will be fully forwarded from the VFS to the embassy for processing.

2. they mention that the embassy has 15 days (does this include weekends) ? to process the documents before they forward the documents to the immigration department in Brussels, Belgium.

  1. Yes, VFS will send all documents to consulate.
  2. If your file is sent to FPS Belgium, you usually get notified.
