Hello everyone, I'm a non-EU citizen & hold a Permanent Resident Card - D (now called L Card). I have been working with Belgian Company for the past 3.5 years & have been laid off by my employer due to the re-organization. My wife is working in Belgium as well & has a dependent resident permit. I'm searching for jobs already but would like to know if  me being unemployed (possibly for a few weeks) would be a problem for my next Permanent Residence Renewal or my wife's dependent resident permit renewal (which is due in 9 months) ?

My last working is in the next few days.

The situation is very unexpected! I'm searching for jobs as fast as I can. Any input or suggestions in this regard is much appreciated. Many thanks in advance. !
