Will I be denied entry into Malaysia from Singapore?

This is the Singapore forum,so we don't know (and don't discuss) about entry requirements for other countries (Malaysia).

For Singapore, there will be no problem if you return with an IPA for your work pass in hand.

Is there a possibility that Singapore will not allow me to exit?

I’m glad to hear that you have a good chance of getting a job in Singapore. I hope your IPA approval goes smoothly and quickly.

According to the entry requirements into Malaysia, you need to have a valid passport, a visa (if applicable), and a return or onward ticket. You also need to fill out a health declaration form and download the MySafeTravel app. You don’t need to have a COVID-19 test or quarantine, unless you have symptoms or are from a high-risk country.

According to the ICA website, you need to notify them of any changes in your personal details, including your travel status. You can do this by filling out Form 929 and emailing it to [link moderated]. This way, they’ll be aware of your whereabouts and can contact you if needed.

I don’t think you’ll have any problems entering Malaysia or returning to Singapore, as long as you have all the necessary documents and follow the rules. However, you might be asked some questions at the borders, so be prepared to explain your situation and show proof of your IPA application.
