job seeker status

Post new topic

Clouderzzz

Hey!

I have an F card and as far as I know with that, you can't ask any help from CPAS etc. in other words you can't be an economic burden to the state. Does that apply for job seeker status ? For instance, if i go to Actiris in Brussels to subscribe as a job seeker, it would effect my residency ?

Thanks in advance for your input

@Clouderzzz Clouderzzz depends on the basis on which you obtained the F card and how long it is valid, if you are looking for work. Are you obliged to register in Vdab or artist

i obtained on the basis of family reunifiation with an eu citizen. I have unlimited work permit. I am searching a job without sucess so far. was thinking of registiring with Actiris to have more chance

I think you should not worry about using the services of VDAB or Actiris, they are not only for your benefit but they also contribute to the country's economic development.  I think you should go to them as soon as possible if you know they have services that can help you move forward. Good luck! @Clouderzzz
