Okay, very good. Understood. A response from immigration to your amendment will probably come by end of business day (VN time) tomorrow.
For the temporary residential address in VN for your daughter's application, it should be written as...
Intended temporary residential address in Viet Nam * - Jovia Hotel, 132 Ly Tu Trong St., Ben Thanh Ward, District 1 (include nothing else in this line)
City/Province * - HO CHI MINH City (from drop-down box)
Phone number (in Vietnam) - 028 3825 7755 (optional, but recommended due to immigration's recent insistence)
That should do it for the address. I'm again assuming that your daughter is applying for a tourist eVisa, hence nothing to go in the "Hosting Org..." field.
Also, please ensure you're applying through the Vietnam Immigration official web portal, here. I'd hate to see you wasting time, or worse yet losing money, to an unofficial site.
Please do let the forum know the results of both your and your daughter's applications.

Hello Teresa Phuongg.
Welcome to the expat.com Vietnam forum, and thank you for your first post.
The member you are replying to had been granted his eVisa back on November 17th 2023, after being advised of the correct address on November 11th. The member has not logged on to the forum in over 7 months.
The address given to him on Nov 11th is in the format in which the VN immigration ministry insists (i.e. name of the temporary residence, the physical street address, the ward, and the district).
Again, welcome to the forum. Nice to have you with us.
Hello @Aidan in HCMCI, I am intending to visit Vietnam in early November and applied for visa. I booked a hotel from agoda and put the hotel address on the visa form. The address I put on visa form as received from Agoda,
Temporary address: 9Station Hostel & Bar Phu Quoc, 91/3 Đường Trần Hưng Đạo Phu Quoc Island Vietnam 922200
City/province: kien giang
Phone: +842976588999
But I received the following set of text while my status is amended application.
"You are required to provide a correct address where you will stay and contact phone number in Viet Nam. If your information is inappropriate, your application would be refused."
To note, I intend to enter Vietnam via ho chi Minh city. Where as my first booked hotel is in Phu quoc.
I have been already rejected twice and I am getting spooked. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards.

Hello Eon Termo, and welcome to the expat.com Vietnam forum.
The temporary residential address should be input, in English, as so (you can copy/paste)...
Intended temporary residential address in Viet Nam * - 9Station Hostel & Bar, Tran Hung Dao Road, Group 7, Duong Dong, Phu Quoc (include nothing else in this line)
City/Province * - KIEN GIANG (from drop-down box)
Phone number (in Vietnam) - 0766 545 533 (optional, but recommended due to immigration's recent insistence)
Note the change in the phone number. The one provided above is the phone # registered with Vietnam tourism ministry. Also, do not include "Vietnam 922200". Post #297 contains information on the "Agency/Organization/Individual that the applicant plans to contact when enter into Viet Nam" section. Take a quick read of that post to avoid another unnecessary denial reason.
It's good that you, as a citizen of Bangladesh, have applied early. Please take a moment to read post #385, here.It will not surprise us to hear that you receive additional denials. See post #7, here, to read my recent posts to your fellow Bangladeshi.
Please tell me how your previous denials were worded.
Thank you @Aidan in HCMC for your prompt reply.
The previous denial showed the same message, where I realized I didn't add the name of the hotel that I booked which I added later on. Turned out it was good not enough, lol.
I'll copy paste the address that you provided, and hopefully it will do the trick this time. Thanks so much!
Also I kept the option - "Agency/Organization/Individual that the applicant plans to contact when enter into Viet Nam" blank.
I'll let you know here when there's any update.

Hi there, and welcome to the expat.com Vietnam forum.
Sorry to hear of the trouble you're having. I'll use your first attempt address here. You can copy/paste.
Intended temporary residential address in Viet Nam * - HANZ 345 Business Suite Condo Hotel, 345ab Ðường Trần Hưng Ðạo, Phường Cầu Kho, Quận 1 (include nothing else in this line)

Phone number (in Vietnam) - 0385 027 777 (optional, but recommended due to immigration's recent insistence)
You were missing the ward (Cau Kho Ward) of District 1 in the address. Also, note replacing the "+84" country code with "0", for dialling within Vietnam.
That should do it for you as far as the address issue is concerned.
Please let the forum know of the results of your new amendment.
Your reporting back would be very much appreciated.

@Aidan
Hello, I know it's a huge thread. I'm flying next Friday (5/10) and my application got rejected for the same reason :
Please provide a detailed address in Vietnam
The address I've first entered was copied from Google maps:
65 Đ. Lê Lợi, Street, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh 70000, Vietnam
Hotel name is Fusion Original Saigon Centre.
I've made a new one before I saw this thread with the below address:
65 Đ. Lê Lợi, Street, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh 70000, Vietnam (Fusion Original Saigon Centre)
Now I'm waiting again, there is a big chance though that it gets rejected again because I've added the hotel at the end and also the ward is missing?
If so how can I change that somehow? There's a chance of me waiting to get rejected again.
I've reached out to the hotel and they came back with this address :
65 Đ. Lê Lợi, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Hello Mohammed Saleh A. Welcome to the forum.
I see nothing wrong with the address you've provided, except perhaps that you'd included too much info in the first line. Be sure to enter it like this (copy/paste)...
Intended temporary residential address in Viet Nam * - Lanura Saigon Boutique Hotel, 99/18 Nguyễn Thái Bình, Phường 4, Tân Bình (include nothing else in this line)
City/Province * - HO CHI MINH City (from drop-down box)
Phone number (in Vietnam) - 0835 039 939 (optional, but recommended due to immigration's recent insistence)
Do not include the word "Vietnam", and change the telephone #'s country code from "+84" to "0".
"Denied Reason: Require to fill in detail all the information in the application form"
This does not sound like a reason given by immigration for a first denial. Have you had previous denials?

Hi there Michail Kontopoulos, and welcome to the forum.
Yes, it is a huge thread, and confirmation that you are not alone in trying to navigate your way through the eVisa application process. Extremely stressful, I'm sure.
The address provided by the hotel is correct. You should enter it like so (copy/paste),,,
Intended temporary residential address in Viet Nam * - Fusion Original Saigon Centre, 65 Le Loi Road, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1 (include nothing else in this line)
City/Province * - HO CHI MINH City (from drop-down box)
Phone number (in Vietnam) - 028 3622 2265 (optional, but recommended due to immigration's recent insistence)
October 5th (Saturday?) is quite soon. There is always the option of using the services of a known, trusted local VN visa agent. Let us know if you'd like to take that route.
note: no member of expat.com's Vietnam forum has any financial interest in referring members to a local visa agent. We do so only in an effort to help fellow members receive their eVisa approval.
@Michail Kontopoulos
I forgot to mention. Do not include the word "Vietnam", nor the postal code
@Aidan in HCMC
Yes, I have been denials several times, and this is the penultimate denial
Denied Reason: booking hotel and contact phone number provided is unreachable
After this denial I changed the hotel and phone number in application
Then recently I received the denial that I sent you in the first message
"Denied Reason: Require to fill in detail all the information in the application form"
I would also like to tell you some things about what I wrote in the application
Should it be "Agency/Organization/Individual that the applicant plans to contact when enter into Viet Nam" blank ?
I wrote the hotel's name, address and phone number in "Agency/Organization/Individual that the applicant plans to contact when enter into Viet Nam"
Multiple - entry
Intended length of stay in Viet Nam (number of days) * 60 days

Leave all fields under the "Name of hosting organisation", "Agency/Organization/Individual that the applicant plans to contact when enter into Viet Nam" completely blank, as this section does not apply to tourism applications, and is for people who will be sponsored to enter Vietnam (by an employer, charity org., diplomatic mission, etc). Under this field, no name, no address, no tel#, and no purpose.
Multiple - entryIntended length of stay in Viet Nam (number of days) * 60 days -@Mohammed Saleh A
When you amend the application, remove any info in that "hosting org." field.
Provide immigration with the following by completing these fields.
Though not mandatory, complete the following fields.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The ID Card number should be completed if the applicant's country issues such an ID (in your case, Libya). If no citizen ID number is issued by your country, applicants have used their passport number, with success. Try that if you've not already put a number there.
Under PASSPORT INRORMATION (sic), complete the Issuing Authority/Place of issue field, usually the city from where your passport was issued.
Under the CONTACT INFORMATION and the OCCUPATION sections, complete all fields for both.
In the TRIP'S EXPENSES, INSURANCE section, for the Intended expenses (in USD) something around $700 per 30 days should be good. For your length of stay indicate $1400 (don't write it as $1,400, as the application may not recognize the comma between the 1 and the 4).
In the Who will cover the trip's expenses of the applicant field, select "The applicant" from the drop-box. For the field Does the applicant have health insurance arranged for their stay in Viet Nam? select "Yes" and for details write simply "Travel insurance".
Give that a try.
Please let the forum know of the results of your new amendment.
Your reporting back would be very much appreciated.

Hi Aidan, thanks for confirming!
Ive decided to visit the local embassy of Vietnam so that we may sort it out.
But can you give me more information with regards to the local VN Visa agent you mentioned?
Thanks in advance

Okay, good luck with that. Reports are that VN embassies are instructing people applying for a tourist visa to do so online. Then again, you might get a sympathetic ear at the embassy. Do let us know how it turns out for you there.
But can you give me more information with regards to the local VN Visa agent you mentioned?
Thanks in advance

Hi there Samara Meheruz. Welcome to the forum.
Hi Aidan, do you know how long Vietnam immigration hold the visa? its been more than three weeks but they keep sending the email saying its amending for various reason.
Immigration does not "hold the visa". If I understand you correctly, immigration is denying your eVisa application, and are asking you to amend it and then resubmit it to them for review. Please let us know the reasons given for the denials. Also, please let us know what changes (if any) you have made to your application thus far.
Also, please take a few moments to read from post #385, here, up to post #450 (shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes). You'll see several Bangladeshi member posts there. As a citizen of Bangladesh your eVisa application is subject to enhanced scrutiny.
my flight is on 22nd of october so what should i do now? -@Samara Meheruz
It's very good that you've started the application process early.
The easiest and least stressful route for you to take would be to follow the advice given by member OceanBeach92107 in the post directly above this. Many expat.com members have successfully used the services of a local, trusted Vietnam visa agent. If you'd like to pursue this, please let us know.
Feel free to ask any further questions you might have.
note: no member of expat.com's Vietnam forum has any financial interest in referring members to a local visa agent. We do so only in an effort to help fellow members receive their eVisa approval.
Hello again @Aidan in HCMC!
So I updated the address as u asked. Copy pasted the following address.
9Station Hostel & Bar, Tran Hung Dao Road, Group 7, Duong Dong, Phu Quoc.
But I got the following message asking me to amend, "Please provide a detailed address in Vietnam".
What should I do now? Also to avoid further denials, is it okay that I put the dates like below?
Entry: 22/10/24, Valid from: 22/10/24,
Exit: 15/12/24 intended stay: 9 days
Thanks!

Hi there. My error! Apologies.
Yes, add the "91/3" to the street address.
Your dates look good, however immigration will calculate that as 55 days. Length of stay, 55 days. We always encourage members to apply for the full 90 day stay allowable under the tourist eVisa. Enter 90 days, and the system should calculate the "valid to" date. There is no penalty for exiting earlier than the eVisa's end date.
Hi @aidan
Hope you are well. I made a mistake in submission with selecting the dates. Is there a way to rectify them? just submitted the application. visa not yet granted.

Hello ColonerHardStone. Welcome to the expat.com Vietnam forum.
You can try sending a message to immigration, here.
Please let the forum know whether this works.
@Aidan in HCMC
thanks. I have done as you suggested.
just a quick messege i ended up selecting 3rd october 2024 as "Grant Evisa Valid from" to 15 November 2024.
also selected intended date of entry as 4th October 2024 while i need to be in Ho Chi Minh on NOVEMBER 4th.
since the grant evisa from and to duration is more than 30 days, will that automatically deny the visa?
@Aidan in HCMC
thanks. I have done as you suggested.
You're welcome of course, but from what you're telling me there would be no need to amend your dates.

When approved, your eVisa will permit entry on any date from Oct 3rd, up to Nov 14th (the day before the eVisa's expiration). There is no penalty for entering Vietnam after the "Valid from" date, nor for exiting prior to the "Valid to" date.
since the grant evisa from and to duration is more than 30 days, will that automatically deny the visa?
-@ColonerHardStone
No. The maximum number of days available to visitors on a tourist eVisa is 90 days. We always encourage applicants to apply for the full 90 days. As mentioned, no penalty for exiting earlier than the end date. Whether applying for a 2 day eVisa, or a 90 day eVisa, the cost is the same, i.e. $25 USD single entry, $50 USD multiple entry.
Hope that sets your mind at ease a little.
@Aidan in HCMC
Thanks so much for your response! Unfortunately, my application has been rejected again with the reason: "please fill in all information in the application."
Could you please advise what I need to complete? I left the "Name of Hosting Agency" section blank since I'm not working with an agency, and I answered "No" for health insurance.
I'm flying in mid-month, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks again!

You're quite welcome. Your profile is showing you as being Australian. Is this correct?

The reason I asked whether your profile (showing you as Australian) was correct is because the denials you are receiving are not common to applications received from Australians. Do let us know, and of course feel free to ask any additional questions you might have.

-@Aidan in HCMC
Good idea to clarify.
This certainly wouldn't be the first time that someone listed their current location on their forum profile instead of listing the country of their passport.
I recall we recently had someone listing their nationality as Hong Kong when in fact they were from a totally different country.
@Aidan in HCMC
Thank you Aidan, I' from Australia and still holding a Sri Lankan passport.
-@Kosala Subasinghe
Okay, thank you for that.
If you are applying for the eVisa using your Sri Lanka passport, you might expect the application to be subjected to enhanced scrutiny. Take a look at post #385, here.
I suggest you continue amending/resubmitting your application. You've still got two weeks before your intended departure date. In the event that you do not receive approval 1 week before departure, I would then strongly suggest you use the services of a local Vietnam visa agent.
Please let us know the results of your newly amended application. We'll help you the best we can.
@Aidan in HCMC Hi, I am a Bangladeshi and applied for my visa on 6th Sept'24. Vietnam Immigration amended it multiple times, for various reasons. Now they are amending it showing that, You are required to complete exactly all the blanks in the application form. You are required to provide a correct address where you will stay and contact phone number in Vietnam. If your information is inappropriate, your application would be refused.
I provided the following address. Kindly provide that what I need to correct here:
Ace Hotel Ben Thanh, 100 Ly Tu Trong Street, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1
Province from the drop-down box, Ho Chi Minh City
Phone Number: +84969985568

you almost certainly need the assistance of an agent, because anecdotal reports and conversations with agents have been indicating that Bangladeshi people can expect to experience great difficulty in getting an Evisa approved

The address you have supplied is correct. This is VN immigration subjecting your application to enhanced scrutiny.
Take a look at post #459, here, for suggestions on how "...to complete exactly all the blanks in the application form."
If recent posts from other Bangladeshi members is any indication, you might very well expect further delays/amendment requests. Please read post #385 for an explanation.
As you still have almost 3 weeks before your departure date, you could continue amending/resubmitting your application after each denial.
