So now his application looks like this. I cant leave Agency/Organisation/... section empty becouse I received rejected with the message: 'Require to fill in detail all the information in the application form.
@Aidan in HCMC
I agree that this section should be empty. For my visa, I did it that way. And for the address, I just listed 60 Trần Phú, Lộc Thọ, Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa 650000 and my application was approved. But my husband kept getting rejected with the message: 'Require to fill in detail all the information in the application form.' This happened about 5 times until I filled in the agency/organization/... section. After that, we got the error: 'Please provide your detailed address.' But I will remove AirBnb. I'll just write the name of the hotel. Is the address written correctly: 'Muong Thanh Luxury Nha Trang Hotel, 60 Tran Phu, Loc Tho, Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa'? Or maybe I don't need to write the city if it is already selected in the City section?
-@Iryna Dymytreyeva
Agreed. Nothing (not even the hotel name) should be in the "Hosting org." section for a tourist application, and yes, do not include Khanh Hoa on the temporary residential address line. Select Khanh Hoa from the city/province drop-down box.
So, the address for the intended temporary residential address should be...
Muong Thanh Luxury Hotel, 60 Tran Phu, Loc Tho, Nha Trang
That should do it for your husbands application.
Resubmit your husband's amended application, and do please let the forum know of the results, be it approved or denied. If denied, we'll try another route.

You must leave that section blank, as it is not applicable for a tourist eVisa application.
That "Hosting org." section is for people who are being sponsored to enter Vietnam (employment, charity org., diplomatic mission etc).
Believe me when I tell you that we are more than a little familiar with this whole application process.
- Thanks @Aidan in HCMC! Your changes worked and I was approved in about 4 working days. Looking forward to visiting Vietnam. Best!

Hello - can someone help please..
I've got the same problem with e-visa residential address.
My visa was denied first due to passport picture not being within the last 6 months. Now i got "please fill details information on residential address in viet nam"
Intended temporary residential address in Viet Nam: Hoan Kiem, Hanoi, Vietnam
City/Province: HA NOI City
Phone number (in Vietnam) i left blank
I just entered general location. Please any help would be appreciated.
I am thinking of entering the following address:
Golden Sail Hotel & Spa, 55 P. Hàng Buồm, Hàng Buồm, Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội
Phone number: +84 24 3932 8855
is that okay?

Hello samizaman, and welcome to the forum.
Looks good! Don't include "Hà Nội" on that address line though, as you will select that from the
city/province drop-down box.
Please let the forum know the results of your amended application. (I think you'll be fine)
Good luck, and hope to hear of your good news soon.
edit; I've removed two of your posts which were duplicates.

@Aidan in HCMC
Hello. My application has been approved. When you mentioned that the Agency/Organisation section should be left blank and that AirBnB should not be mentioned, it was too late to make any changes as the application was already under review. However, it was accepted.
I will write again about how I filled out the application. Maybe this will be useful to others.
As I mentioned earlier, initially, the Agency/Organisation field was empty, and in the Intended temporary residential address in Viet Nam field, I specified "60 Trần Phú, Lộc Thọ, Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa 650000". I received multiple rejections with the message "Require to fill in detail all the information in the application form". I didn't understand what else I needed to fill out. So, I decided to fill in the Agency/Organisation section:
- Name of hosting organisation: "Airbnb host Hoang Anh."
- Provided the host's phone number
- Purpose: tourism
- Address: "60 Trần Phú, Lộc Thọ, Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa 650000"
I received another rejection, but this time with a request to clarify the address. When I changed the address in both sections to "Muong Thanh Luxury Nha Trang Hotel, 60 Tran Phu, Loc Tho, Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa" – it worked. I think the issue was with the address initially. Perhaps the reviewer did not understand where I was going: if it was a hotel or something else. However, it's strange that they provide very uninformative rejection reasons. It's unclear which fields they are not satisfied with and what they want to see. And again, my visa with the initial address was approved. The problems were with my husband's application.
Section: Information about the trip:
- In the Intended temporary residential address in Viet Nam field: "Muong Thanh Luxury Nha Trang Hotel, 60 Tran Phu, Loc Tho, Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa."
- Phone number: host's phone number
- Chose the remaining fields from the list and specified the number of days for the visa (60).
@Iryna Dymytreyeva
Very glad your eVisa application was approved, and thank you very much for reporting back to the forum of your success. We very much appreciate it!
I believe your application being approved with the "hosting org." section being completed was due to charity being applied by the immigration officer reviewing your application. As previously mentioned, that section is for people who are being sponsored to be in country
(the "host" being an employer, a diplomatic mission, a charity etc). Note as well that that section is not a mandatory field. We've noticed that while some applications are afforded a certain amount of leeway by immigration officers in terms of the information supplied by the applicant, there are many other cases where an officer handling an applicant's file is a real stickler for details.
In any event, the application was approved! Next stop, Vietnam!
Once here, we'd love to hear back from you about your impressions/experiences.
note: members of expat.com and casual readers of the forum, you would be well advised to not enter any information in the "hosting org." section when applying to enter Vietnam on a tourist visa

Hello Amyt.ho. Welcome to the forum.
A couple of questions, please.
When is your expected arrival date?
Where on the application are you inputting the hotel name and address?
Please copy/paste the denial reason you've received from immigration.
When you say "my baby", I assume you mean your child, correct? If so, how old is the child?
I'll also assume that if your child, that they hold their own passport.
We'll try to help you through this.
@Aidan in HCMC
Thank you for your assistance, I'll let you know when approved.

Thank you for your PM to me.
Very happy to hear the address change was successful and that your eVisa was issued!

See you all in Vietnam.

Well, we were certainly persistent, and thank you very much for reporting your success!
So happy it finally worked out well for you. This whole eVisa application process can be a very stressful exercise, as reported by many members of the forum. I'm glad you can now put all that behind you and concentrate on your (imminent!) arrival!
It would be great to hear back from you after arrival of your impressions/experiences while here. Feel free to ask any questions which might (will!) arise during your visit. Lots of friendly folk here willing to help if we can. Don't be a stranger.
note to applicants; member aremuabisoye's experience lends credence to our contention that there is no (reasonable) limit to the number of times an application can be amended.

I understand this can be quite frustrating.
Leave these four columns empty.
Purpose, Telephone number, Address, Name of hosting organization.
Fill these.
Intended temporary residential address in VietNam *:"Name of Hotel" , 96 Đ. Tô Ngọc Vân, Quảng An, Tây Hồ
City/Province *: Hanoi
Phone number (in Vietnam): 02437180888
Include the name of the hotel in the residential address. T
This should fix the problems you were having.
Please, share your feedback once it's approved.

Hi again amyt.ho.
Leave all fields under the "Name of hosting organisation", "Agency/Organization/Individual that the applicant plans to contact when enter into Viet Nam" completely blank,as this section does not apply to tourism applications, and is for people who will be sponsored to enter Vietnam (by an employer, charity org., diplomatic mission, etc). Under this field, no name, no address, no tel#, and no purpose.
Enter the following under the Under "INFORMATION ABOUT THE TRIP".
Intended temporary residential address in Viet Nam * - Diamond West Lake Hotel, 96 Đ. Tô Ngọc Vân, Quảng An, Tây Hồ (include nothing else in this line)
City/Province * - HA NOI City (from drop-down box)
Phone number (in Vietnam) - 0243 718 0888 (optional, but recommended. Note replacing the country code "84", using instead "0")
I think this should fix things for you.
Good luck, and please let us know of the results.

I'm not quite sure when immigration started using this particular denial reason phrasing, but it has been popping up frequently of late.
I did t have issue in the past and am unable to identify where the problem is.

-@Murat Salman
I see nothing wrong with the address you've supplied. I would suggest (and realizing that the application indicates that it is not a mandatory field) you include the hotel's telephone number.
Though there have been no reports of denials being issued due to the temporary residential address being entered in English, copy/paste the following on to your amended application:
Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel, 2 Công Trường Lam Sơn, Bến Nghé, Quận 1
028 3824 1234 (telephone of hotel)
Please let the forum know the results of your amended application.
Best of luck, and hope to hear from you again soon.

Hi there.
Since you've received a denial notice, on the eVisa "Search" page, here, enter your information. You should then be presented with a link to amend your application. See post #297, here, for the proper format for temporary residential address information.
Feel free to ask additional questions should the need arise.
@Aidan in HCMC
Sorry, my english is not that well.
What i mean was that our application status is amending, i need to fill in the detailed information about our residential adress in Vietnam.
The hotel is :
Flower Garden Hotel in Hanoi with the adres on google: 46 P. Nguyễn Trường Tộ, Trúc Bạch, Ba Đình, Hà Nội, Vietnam
How does i have to fill the adress in the Visa? With the P. or?
Thanks!

I'm sorry. I am not sure I understand what you are asking me. That "P." in the address is the Vietnamese abbreviation for "Street".
You can enter the address, in English, exactly like this... (copy/paste to your amended application)
Intended temporary residential address in Viet Nam * - Flower Garden Hotel, 46 Nguyen Truong To Street, Truc Bach Ward, Ba Dinh District (Do not include "...in Hanoi" in the name)
City/Province * - HA NOI City (from drop-down box)
Phone number (in Vietnam) - 098 8714 646 (optional, but recommended)
I hope this answers your question.
We are a friendly group here. No need to apologize for not being fluent in English. Let us know if you need more help. No problem at all.
@aremuabisoye
Thank you very much for the advice!
I'll try
@Zain ul Haq I was approve with the address "AirBnB"
@Iryna Dymytreyeva I just put "AirBnB" in the address field and was approved in a day.
@Mandy van Oorschot I was approved with the address "AirBnB".
@Pan Fried
Having successfully applied for an eVisa without completing the mandatory
"Intended temporary residential address in Viet Nam *", I'm hopeful your duplicate posts to multiple members of the forum is not taken as advice as to how the application should be completed.
I'm sure you'll agree that "AirBnB" is not an address.
In any event the approval of your application, though certainly not typical, is also not unheard of by members of this forum. As mentioned in a number of posts...
"We've noticed that while some applications have been afforded a certain amount of leeway by immigration officers in terms of the information (or lack thereof) supplied by the applicant, there are many other cases where an officer handling an applicant's file is a real stickler for details."
note to expat.com members and casual readers of this forum:
to avoid the likelihood of your eVisa application being denied/delayed, complete
the mandatory "Intended temporary residential address in Viet Nam *", in full

Hello, I am having the same issue with the denied reason being "you are required to provide a correct address where you will stay and contact phone number in vietnam."
For my case my sister lives in HCMC so I have put the following
1/ Reason for visit - tourism, visiting relatives
2/ Name of hosting organisation - My sisters name and details as it says to put details of individual you will contact
3/ Intended temporary address in Vietnam - her address
4/ Do you have relatives currently residing in Vietnam - I have said yes and given her details
In reading the previous posts shall I be leaving the name of hosting organisation blank?
Regarding address this is what I have put - Xi Riverview Palace, Tower 101, Apartment 402, 190 Nguyen van Huong, Thao Dien, District 2,
For Phone number I have put her personal number - does it need to be in the +84 format? Can I leave it blank?
Any idea on why it wont accept the address? Is a hotel address better?
Thanks!
Hello sd1305, and welcome to the expat.com VN forum.
Hello, I am having the same issue with the denied reason being "you are required to provide a correct address where you will stay and contact phone number in vietnam."

Yes. Please read the reply to member Amyt.ho in post #297 of this very thread, here.
Regarding address this is what I have put - Xi Riverview Palace, Tower 101, Apartment 402, 190 Nguyen van Huong, Thao Dien, District 2,
Confirm with your sister that she has registered and will be accommodating you during your visit. From this page, have her select "TEMPORARY RESIDENCE REGISTRATION". The address you've supplied should then be good, provided you follow the format outlined in post #297, above.
For Phone number I have put her personal number - does it need to be in the +84 format? Can I leave it blank?
After her registering, input her local number (starting with "0", not ""84").
Any idea on why it wont accept the address? Is a hotel address better?
You've input the address in the wrong panel, whether you use her address or that of a hotel. In any event, by law your sister must register you with the local authorities/police in her ward, so better to use her address after she has registered.
Thanks!
-@sd1305
You're very welcome, of course.
I do have a question, if I may, and I ask this only to determine whether you might be eligible for a VEC (visa exemption certificate). When you say that your sister lives here, are you and she of Vietnamese descent?
Okay, hope to hear back of your successful eVisa application, and once again welcome to the forum.
Hi Aidan,
Many thanks for your reply. So helpful! We are not of Vietnamese descent. She is an expat in Vietnam, living there with her husband who is working there.
Just to clarify when you say I have put the address in the wrong panel, do you mean as hosting organisation? I also indicated it as my intended temporary address in Vietnam which I assume is correct. I will remove it from the hosting organisation.
She has definitely not registered me. So do you think they have asked for an amendment because I have put details in the hosting organisation or because she has not registered me?
I take it my options are as follows:
1/ She registers me and then I put her address in the intended temporary address in Vietnam field
OR
2/ I simply put a hotel address in the intended temporary address in Vietnam field
Lastly does it matter if I put reason as tourism vs tourism, visiting relatives?
Thanks once again.
Hi Aidan,

Okay, understood. Thank you for that.
Just to clarify when you say I have put the address in the wrong panel, do you mean as hosting organisation? I also indicated it as my intended temporary address in Vietnam which I assume is correct. I will remove it from the hosting organisation.
Yes, absolutely remove it from the hosting organization section. No host name, reason, address, or phone # in that section. Leave it totally blank. The information you supplied should be under the "Temp. Residential address..." section. Skim through post #297 for a fuller explanation as to why.
She has definitely not registered me. So do you think they have asked for an amendment because I have put details in the hosting organisation or because she has not registered me?
The initial denial was due to your having input details in the hosting org section. In fact, as a foreigner she may not be able to register herself as providing another foreigner (you) with temporary residence.
I take it my options are as follows:
1/ She registers me and then I put her address in the intended temporary address in Vietnam field
OR
2/ I simply put a hotel address in the intended temporary address in Vietnam field
Definitely take option #2. Make sure to provide the 1)the hotel's name, 2)street address, 3)ward, and 4)district. Then, from the drop-down box in the next panel, select the city/province (in your case, HO CHI MINH City).
Lastly does it matter if I put reason as tourism vs tourism, visiting relatives?
I strongly suggest you indicate "Tourism", only.
Thanks once again.
-@sd1305
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask any additional questions you might have.
Hi Aidan,
Indeed very helpful. I will try amending with hotel address and keep you posted.
One question - I will still say yes to Do you have any relatives currently residing in Vietnam? I wouldnt want to say otherwise and i think it should be ok?

From what you've told me, that should be okay. I would still leave the reason for your visit as tourism (only).
Good luck with your amendment, and do please let the forum know of the results. We'd very much appreciate it.
I will definitely update you so others can also benefit. thank you once again!!

I'm excited to share my positive experience with the visa application process to Vietnam. Although I know this update comes a bit late, as I got busy with arranging my travel after receiving the visa! 😊
After considering the helpful suggestions from Aidan and OceanBeach, I decided to go through a visa agency based in Vietnam. The entire process was impressively quick; my visa application was approved in less than 3 days! The agency provided valuable insights and assistance, especially given the challenges faced by Pakistani passport holders, like myself.
I would definetly recommend people from Pakistan to apply for Vietnemese visa through the agency.

Thanks very much for taking the time to give positive feedback here.
I'm glad the agent was able to help you with your situation.
As I mentioned in our private message exchange, that particular agent has become a specialist in the needs of Pakistani travelers coming to Vietnam.
I'm aware of at least two times that she has traveled to Pakistan to become better acquainted with your country.
Have safe travels and enjoy your time in Vietnam 😎👍
Cheers!
