Hi. I would like ask some advice about my case?
(Practing work without work permit)
Few months ago. I got spotted working inside an office (not my sponsor) by the LMRA.
They ask me some questions. Let me sign on a form written in Arabic and took a picture of me.
Before signing, I did asked twice wether there will be a problem to me? And they answered NO. So I signed.
Afterwards, I checked with the sponsor (where they spotted me, if this is a serious problem?)
That sponsor said NO it will be ok after they paid the penalty of 1,000BD They also said, that it won't be a problem to me. The problem will be for them only.
A week ago, was supposed to be my flight for my vacation. But the immigration stopped me due to a travel ban.
So they asked if I wanted to go in my flight and pay the travel ban to get removed in their system. And they allow me to go in my flight. Or do I want to cleared it in court if I have plan to come back. Because, they said I also have a blacklist because of a crilminal case. (Not knowing what my case is... and I was totally unknowledgeable of any crime I did)
So because, I wanted myself to get it cleared and come back here. I need to go check in the police the case I have. (And I did. And I find out its an LMRA case) They bring me to the prosecuters office and given me an appeal paper to see the judge (I was assisted by a police, like im arrested) then release me after getting an appeal paper. And come for the hearing.
I was advised by the police to bring the sponsor (where they spotted me) and a document if I have one. At first, I was feeling confident that the sponsor can testify as this case was over as that was the sponsor told me "after paying the penalty it is cleared and there will be no problem to me. Nothing to worry". (I believed when he told me that)
So I called that sponsor and told what happened. And ask to testify with me. At the beginning of our meeting he was ok. And said no problem he will testify. (I get relief that day)
Now, the day of the hearing he came an hour before the hearing starts and he was ok. And told me you go 1st check if the court room is open. And told me he will just park and just message him once court room is open. (And so I did messaged him) but he ddin't come to attend. On the last minute he changed his mind and send me a voice message saying sorry.
I went alone in the court room. And on the hearing I did not get cleared and told me to come back for the final judgement on January.
I'm very terrified. Of this situation now. As it taking long days before the final judgement.
I lose my hope as that sponsor couldn't testify for me. 😔
Please, can anyone. Just tell me straight to the point what could be the decision of the judge on this case.
( I have a valid visa. That day on my hearing I couldn't tell the truth as I was too much afraid.)
Afraid that I might get any problem on my original sponsor once they find out. Maybe cancel my visa, or I don't know what they can do?
😔😔😔
Thank you with fear in me.
I have answered this hundreds of times.
Working without a visa or working for someone other than your sponsor, IS ILLEGAL.
And also, it doesn't clear with fine. Because it is an illegal activity, LMRA can choose to file a case. In your case, they did.
In most cases, the judgement is deportation and ban.
@XTang
Thank you for answering my question sir.
I am consulting from an assistant of a lawyer. Told me the same, worst case deportation. She offered me to get a lawyer and try to check the case.
Now, I am thinking of getting a lawyer to try?
My question. Would it help me clear my case. Since that sponsor also informed the LMRA that he couldn't apply for a visa for me yet that time.
I have been working there for a month. Same he mentioned. As I was waiting for them to have the visa ready on their company. As they cannot employ a lady visa for some reason. I got this job offer from May and they processed my visa to their company but got rejected. They have print out on system that I got rejected that time. So I work to another company as it is taking time for their visa to get ready. They, given me a new job offer and accepted. That employer informed I can start the job and they will do the transfer. But they haven't process it again and does not show in system.
I really lost my hope. And thinking twice wether to get a lawyer or not? Is it worth decision?
Someone told me that, since I have a valid visa you can stay until it expires. But cannot be renewed. Because same deportation case.
Someone said I'll get deported same on the final judgement day.
I want to know which one I should consider?
As I want to prepare my things, and to be prepared paying my bills. Such as rent etc...
Thank you for your answer @Xtang
This page is very helpful.
You should have gotten a lawyer before the hearing.
Now, at judgement, they may order to deport you. It is not done same day. They take you to holding and then arrange ticket.
Suggest you get a lawyer so at least he can file an appeal and maybe it will help.
@XTang
I am very frustrated 😔
The reason I did not get lawyer was, It was written in paper that after paying the BD100 I can ignore the notice.
If deportation 😔 is the judgement. I still hope not.
Can the lawyer help to make the deportation delay atleast until my visa get expired. My sponsor do not have any problem to work with them after knowing this problem. Atleast, to get some money before finally, I go to my country.
Is there anyway that the lawyer can do that? As I am not ready for this situation and have some responsibilities needed to pay. I want to work atleast little more time.
Does my Embassy can help me for this kind of problems?
Thank you to answer 😔
@XTang
After judgement. Do I can book my own ticket same day so I can go home? I don't want being in the jail or stay in the jail. 😔
Please, let me know what could happen to me after that judgement. What is the process here?
Thank you for answering 😔
I am still hoping that is not my judgement.
@XTang
Thank you @Xtang just sad on this I've been long time here. And have no intention to do any illegal things.
Am I allowed to book my own ticket that day after the judgement?
Please, answer for last question. Thank you @Xtang
If the judgement is deportation, all the procedure will be done by the officials, unfortunately you cannot do anything.
@logicalindian
I'm still hoping and praying I be cleared. 🙏 Thank you.
Just a new question as someone told me that, they might still allow me to work to my original sponsor till my visa expires. But I can't renew my visa anymore.
If that is the judgement. Is that mean I'm cleared? Does my travel ban get lifted and I can go out before my visa get expires if I stayed?
What could be the process of this if I stayed?
Is it still advisable to stay if that is the judgement?
Thank you for your answer. 🙏
These are all theories, wait till the judgement is passed and then speak to your lawyer on what is the best. Good luck.

These are all irrelevant questions and speculative.
Based on what you described, the way you handled the hearing ie poorly, the most likely outcome, best case is fine.... And likely case, deportation. As I said, get a lawyer and stop wondering about useless things that people are telling you.
@logicalindian
Thank you for response on my question 🙏@logicalindian
I still hope for the best.
@keilitonjua
I see this post in the Forum yr. 2019.
What If you had this legal case or difficulties without getting deported but still ended up on a blacklist?
I know I am not able return to the country. My question is, while I am staying am I allowed to work? Also, I want to know the time I want to go back in my country. Do I get travel ban? Do they allow me to go home?
So the reason I am asking this is. When I found out I have this case is when I am about to travel for vacation. At the Airport immigration they said I have travel ban and deporatation and blacklist. Their allowing me to travel by paying BD100 to remove the travel ban but cannot return. But I insisted to check this case because I wanted to come back here.
My question is, is it the same thing going to happened if I stayed? On my 1st hearing I see most of the people there with cases was asked by the judge "you want to stay? Or you want to go?" If this happens to my case. Is it better to go?
What is the consequence if I stayed here?
I consulted a lawyer already, they said it is less chances in my case to get fix. But they can try. I am worried also about lawyer expense. I might not afford to pay.
Thank you for your answer.
@XTang
Thank you @Xtang I already consulted to a lawyer and still checking my case if there are possibilities to get fix.
If I get fine. Then how much could be the fine to me?
Thank you @Xtang
Let the lawyer guide you. As I said before, every case is different and it is difficult to predict an outcome.
@XTang
Hi @Xtang
I'm still waiting for a lawyer feedback about mu case. I already approached two lawyer about my case. But it seems that they don't want to handle this type or lmra case. (They are still checking the case situation until now) Because they said it is a very difficult case. Tomorrow I will approach a new lawyer which my friend here reffered to me.
I'm losing hope as this both lawyer said that it maybe deportation.
My question, can I travel now rather than waiting the final judgement? Which portal can I check to see if I am allowed to travel pls? Is there voluntary exit to travel on my case? 😔
Thank you for answering.
1) I have repeatedly told you that based on how you handled the court hearing, the judgment will likely be deportation. So I don't know why you are so surprised
2) Not sure but I doubt that there will be a travel ban at this stage. So in all likelihood, you can leave. Just never plan on coming back to Bahrain
@keilitonjua
Hi bro am in the same situation please can you help me what judge will says in judgement time please?
I have lawyers he says everything is solve able but am waiting last two weeks please if you have knowledge what is last judgement
Hi just like to seek some advice. I was caught by LMRA Working Without Valid visa. My visa status that time is in progress from that company. My sponsor already paid for 1000BD. My question is is there a possibility to apply for another company and is there any change for them to apply visa for me? And how do I clear my violation on LMRA how much do I need to pay? I hope i can get a answer to this. Thank you
