Residence Permit for parents

Being a resident in Bahrain, can I get residence permits for my parents?

I was looking at the npra webiste. (Home / Services / Visas & Residence Permit / Residence Permits Services / Residence Permit for Resident's Direct Family) and it seems possible.

They have visited before on evisa but it didn't get approved this time (3 months multiple entry). Is it possible to get the permits or a visist visa is the way to go?

Please share your experience.

Thanks.

Don't get the question.  Many people have sponsored parents for residence permits - it is the simpler route provided you meet the eligibility requirements listed on the website.

@XTang Hi thanks for replying

Since you mentioned that residence permit for parents is possible, let me reiterate.

  1. What are the eligibility requirements? I couldn't find any details on that at the link https://www.npra.gov.bh/en/services/vis … years-old/
  2. For how long is this RP valid for?
  3. In the long term, what would you say is more simpler option for having parents here, residence permit of a visit visa?

#RP is usually valid for 2years

#Visit visa has a condition of maximum stay even if it's valid for an year with residence visa that condition does not apply.

Validity is max 2 years. They haven't listed any eligibility requirements but generally your salary should above 1000 bd.  Visit visa has maximum days of stay. RP doesnt.
