Hi all!! I'm turning 30 next year and I find myself at a point in my life where I need to take an adventure before it becomes too late. New Zealand has always been a place I wish to travel to. My plan is in a little over a year I want to move there. During that time I'm going to be saving and researching and getting all the necessaries taken care of. I guess what I am looking for on here is a little help in what to expect in terms of living conditions, cost of living, where to move to, jobs that are available and I hope to make a few friends in the mean time. Please feel free to fill me in on any info you think could be helpful for a newbie like myself, I am a sponge for the knowledge and am willing to learn. This prospect is very exciting to me and I look forward to hear from you all!!

You'll have to drop the "dude" for "mate" and check the previous posts related to making moves. Then specific questions would be helpful and easier to answer.
