Does anyone know anything about Habitat, an organization that manages three different residences for independent senior citizens in Medellin?

I don't have personal knowledge, but they have a series of YouTube videos you can find here/

They also have their website:

From reading some of their literature, I suspect the Client would have to have a good command of Spanish, as well as a healthy wallet. Good luck.

@szimmer1935 My father has just moved into one of the Habitat Communities. He and my mother are originally from Colombia , but have lived in the United States over 60 years. The staff has been amazing at accommodating him, and working with us from abroad. He has Alzheimer's, dementia and parkinson's.  We could no longer help him in the manor he deserved . There is a team that will meet with you. They have my family in a group whatsapp chat if we have any questions and share video and information with us. He has a private small room (like a college dorm room) with private bath. We had to provide everything from furniture , bedding, towels. He needs diapers so they have a program where you can provide them or you can be billed at end of the month. The contract was fairly straight forward. I travel often so I do get a chance to visit with him. They have another property which is fabulous and actually there are people who live there who are still working if they want and they have villas, 2 bedroom, 1 bedroom apartments . Feel free to whats app them. They are very kind. I hope this helps some

@nico peligro currently there are 3 different Habitat locations Sede Suramerica (La Estrella ) , Sede Los Bernal (Belen) , Sede Los Balsos ( Poblado area). Most of the residents are from Medellin but there are some from different parts of the world. From what I gather the price points very on the location and the levels of care that are needed. Hope this helps.
