Hi all,

What do you think about the means of transportation in Kampala ?

Is the network of means of transportation well developed?
What modes of transport are available?

Do you use them?

How much is a fare?

Are they relatively safe?

What is the mean of transportation you use the most in Kampala?

Thanks in advance for participating!

the network is well developed but don't expect confirt, means are mainly mini buses, takes 14 people others are called bodaboda motor cycle taxies for beating the traffic, special hire taxies, buses for long distance travels,

hello Armand,

our transportation is good, the network is developed since it gets you anywhere you may want to go to but i cant exactly say its very developed since its limited to road transport.

we have buses, taxis'(mini-buses) boda bodas'(motor-cycles) as you will get to know and the special hire care,(that you call taxis in your country). these you can find anywhere and are quite safe as long as get them from well known places and take some precaution like making sure you get into a taxi or bus with lots of people so as not to be mugged, taking boda bodas from there stages as they are registered, same as special hires. but i can guarantee comfort.

When it comes to life, Dont hesitate to move around kampala. U will find the best you want at an affordable price. We have buses, Taxi's, Boda boda.

But you must be conversant with these drivers because most of them when they see some new faces they tend to ask for too much watch this out befriend the people in these public transportation such that you enjoy the means.
