Temp residency visa renewal 2024

We have had the temp visa MRC1 for nearly 1 year now and I expect need to renew this to continue in Cyprus. As the regulation change so much has anyone got experience of a renewal in 2024 in Paphos? I did use a local company for the initial visa should I go that route again or is it an easier option to go to immigration myself?
