My name is Aveikas. I am a lawyer from the Kyrgyz-French Association, a non-profit organization involved in humane stray dog population control. We provide free sterilization, vaccination, and identification procedures for stray dogs. Our main office is located in Kyrgyzstan. We want to open a branch of our organization in Mauritius. However, I couldn't find the laws of Mauritius that regulate the activities of non-profit organizations. If you don't mind, could you please advise which government agency deals with stray animals and share a link to their website? Additionally, I have a question regarding foreign veterinary doctors: is a veterinary doctor diploma obtained in their own country sufficient, or is it necessary to obtain a diploma or certificate in Mauritius?
